How do I get from SeaTac airport to the ChefConf venue/hotel?
SeaTac is located south of Seattle and there are several options for getting to the ChefConf hotel.

Light rail - The train station at SeaTac is a 10 minute walk once you exit security at the airport. It is about a 30 minute ride to Westlake Station in the heart of downtown Seattle. From there you will have a 5 block walk to the hotel.

Uber and Lyft - These two rideshare options are both available at SeaTac airport. After you have arranged for your ride, proceed to the Ground Transportation Plaza on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Follow the signs to the TNC/Rideshare pickup area in Sections G,H,I and J where your driver will be waiting.

Taxis - If a taxi is your preferred option, simply follow the signs posted as you exit the airport and you will find one waiting for you. Taxi cabs are stationed on the 3rd floor of the garage on the north and south curb.

Depending on traffic, it is a 20-40 minute ride from the airport to the hotel. Rental cars are available at the airport, but if your plans do not include driving out of the city, we recommend using one of the other transportation options.

What are my options for transportation within the city?
Many of the favorite sites and neighborhoods of Seattle are within walking distance of the hotel.

Looking for a ride? Uber and Lyft are your best options. Taxis can also be arranged at the hotel. If the weather is nice, you may want to rent a bike. Several bikeshare companies operate in Seattle and they are readily available throughout the city.
